Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC when she was in her final year of her engineering bachelor's degree. As she finished her degree and contemplating if pursuing engineering could make her feel happy. After realizing her dream that she had, she set out to work on civil services. The parents of her encouraged her to concentrate on civil work and to find a job serving the people. Her motivation never waned and was focused at her dream to become an IAS. To achieve UPSC the candidate must be more diligent. When she was studying engineering courses she was also able to practice for the various areas of the UPSC. Each day she allocated time for exam preparation. She mastered the engineering tests in only one-and-a-half months and stayed away from social activities. Her focus is crucial to be able to pass the test for government jobs and work in civil service. She was extremely committed to passing the test, and she put in a good deal of effort. To stay informed about recent events her routine was to go through newspapers. Rajya Sabha TV, online sources and various study tools were of great assistance to her.
